The Myford Super 7 seems hugely praised in the UK. Less so in the US. I have found a Super7 from around late 1950s for ~£1000. I cannot tell from the pics if it is a Mk1 or Mk2. It looks in pretty good condition, however, I've not yet viewed it as I am in Ireland and it is in the UK.
